Growing up in Annapolis on the water gave us the opportunity to explore the Severn River and the Chesapeake bay nearby, this was something we took for granted until hearing from out of town guests how much they enjoyed a day on the water and we realized how fortunate we are to have this playground in our own backyard. However boating safely requires, an expensive boat, years of experience navigating, and lots of boat maintenance and yearly costs.
